Harrow Council invites everyone to remember the genocide of 8,000 people in Srebrenica, Bosnia, 24 years ago.   The ‘Bridging the Divide – Confronting Hate’ commemoration is a chance to learn from one of the worst atrocities in Europe since the Second World War. This free event will be held in the Council Chamber from 12.30-1.30 pm on Monday 8 July. It follows the raising of the Srebrenica flag outside the Civic at 9.00 am.
