Spring camp is one of the most exciting events that we run during the year. Spring Camp is for those between school years 3-10 and is an excellent event for everyone old and new to LJY-Netzer.
Held at the amazing Cottesmore School, this 5 day extravaganza will see over sixty young Liberal Jews and a team of highly trained of leaders come together to enjoy creative prayer, play some amazing games and explore our Jewish heritage and identity – this is on top of all the huge amount of fun everybody will be having!
Each age group has it’s own tzevet (staff) team who create age appropriate timetables and content. The smaller groups allow us to have really family feel and create an inclusive environment, this let those who are new or uncertain find their feet, boost their confidence until they are infected with the ruach (spirit) of an LJY-Netzer camp.
All our leaders have been DBS checked and are trained in welfare and safeguarding as well session writing, dorm time, discipline. Supporting our leaders on Machaneh Aviv are the LJY-Netzer movement workers who have years of camp experience and Becca Fetterman, the Director of Youth.
Spring camp runs from the 5-10 April, a coach will be leaving from Southgate Progressive Synagogue in North London for those who need it. The event costs £365 and there is extensive financial support.
