On Friday 16th November There will be a shabbat service and meal, starting at 7.00 pm, at the home of Elaine and Simon Glass, attended by Jon Pam and his wife Miri Lewis. Jon is the community development director for Masorti Judaism and he is visiting HEMS for his first Friday night with us. We will be having a walking bus from Stanmore, so if anyone wants to join them, let us know and we will give you the timetable. The walking bus will be returning at the end of the evening too, so book your walking space to get a good place.
We ask for a donation of £8.00 per single adult or £20 per family, towards the cost of these meals, which is subsidised by the shul. We also ask for food or drink contributions towards the meal. Once you have booked through the office, please contact Gill Ross who is co-ordinating the evening.
