It’s been quite a whirlwind of a beginning of the year — both with the logistics of moving and from the hurricane — but we are settling in happily. Our big life change reminds me that on Rosh Hashanah, our sages wanted us to recognise the potential that we all have on Rosh Hashanah to recreate ourselves.
To emphasize this powerful message, they carefully chose Torah and Haftarah readings of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and even Hagar trying out new roles in life. I wish for anyone at HEMS looking to make changes this year, success in their endeavors. You are in my thoughts and heart and I wish everyone a happy healthy, sweet New Year.
Shana Tova!
