The service will start at 09.45 and we will all have a joint kiddish with the other 2 communities at around 12.15. Whilst the building is not yet fully furnished, we will welcome any feedback from congregants to help us on our way to settling in.

Saturday 25th February – 10 day’s time
Please note in your diary, or hand-held devices, that this is Cici Rutstein’s batmitzvah. It will be our first batmitzvah in Stanmore Hill. Please support her and the family. Her brother Harrison’s barmitzvah was very niche, as it was in the Northwood Hills Masorti pop up shul, with only a minyan, as it was during covid times. We are so delighte that we are back to normal times.
Monday 6th / Tuesday 7th March
Purim! There will be Mincha/Ma’ariv and a Megillah reading in shul at 6.30pm – expect festivity and frivolity. The theme is TBC.
On the 7th we will also host a daytime megillah reading – the daytime reading being the primary fulfilment of the mitzvah of megillah. Please do get in touch to advise whether you would be more likely/happy to attend (if either)
(a) a Shacharit service with breakfast and megillah reading @ 8AM, or
(b) a lunchtime megillah reading and seudah.
Thursday 16th March
We will be having the Mosaic Masorti fund raiser to fund the refurbishment of our bequeathed Megillah with a Gin tasting, 8PM @ Stanmore Hill. Following our successful whisky tasting in January, come and taste a number of luxury, boutique gins (with tonic). Ticketing details to follow. We then might have a Palwin tasting fund raiser in the months ahead. All ideas are welcome.
Saturday 15th April
This is our first timers’ Shabbas In Stanmore. If you have not received a call yet, be prepared for a call from Gillian Lucas or Traci Spivack. We want to involve as many congregant families as we can. Do not be shy and give it a try.
SAVE THE DATE:
Yom Masorti is back! Mark your diaries or electronic devices for, Sunday 14th May. It is going to be an uplifting afternoon of celebration and conversation with the whole of the Masorti community. Register your interest in joining here to be the first to hear more and know when tickets go on sale.
