Fourteenth Test Shabbat in Stanmore
We are delighted to announce that we will be holding another test service in the new building in Stanmore Hill this Shabbat 4th March.  The service will start at 09.45 and we will all have a joint kiddish with the other 2 communities at around 12.15. Whilst the building is not yet fully furnished, we will welcome any feedback from congregants to help us on our way to settling in.

Mazeltov to Bev  and Sass Ezekiel on the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Abi to Mike. We wish them really well and may the sun shine in Hertfordshire on Sunday.

Talmud class
The Talmud class continues with Rabbi Anthony on Thursdays at 8.00 pm on a weekly basis during (roughly) school terms. This is accessible to all, whatever your previous experience of Jewish learning, and texts will be provided in translation. All members are very welcome as we begin our learning in Masekhet Sotah with the burning question what do you do with a jealous husband?!  The class is also available via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88246501121  Meeting ID: 882 4650 1121

We have not listed items that are featured across Mosaic as they are in the bulletin.

Monday 6th / Tuesday 7th March.
Purim! There will be Mincha/Ma’ariv and a Megillah reading in shul at 6.30pm – expect festivity and frivolity. The theme is TBC.

On the 7th we will also host a daytime megillah reading – the daytime reading being the primary fulfilment of the mitzvah of megillah. Please do get in touch with Rabbi Anthony rabbianthony@mosaicmasorti.org.uk to advise whether you would be more likely / happy to attend (if either)
The estimated timings are as follows:-
08.30     Shacharis
09.15     Megillah reading
10.00     Seudah. This will be a tasty convivial event.

Thursday 16th March
We will be having the Mosaic Masorti fund raiser to fund the refurbishment of our bequeathed Megillah with a Gin tasting, 8PM @ Stanmore Hill. Following our successful whisky tasting in January, come and taste a number of luxury, boutique gins (with tonic). Ticketing details are on the website.  I am told that despite the contributor’s love of Palwin that there will not be  a Palwin tasting fund raiser ever.  All ideas for fund raising are welcome.

Saturday 25th March Second Barmitzvah
We are delighted to announce that Michael Harris will be celebrating his second barmitzvah.  This will be a shehechyonu occasion for Michael and for the shul too, so come along and support Michael.

Saturday 15th April
