Are you interested in learning more about, and perhaps assisting with, Judaism’s greatest mitzvah – assisting and caring for Jews on their last journey? This will be an introductory session introducing various aspects of the chevra‘s practices and rituals.
Whether you feel the practical aspects of the Chevra may be for you or not, please do come along to hear more about this sacred work. The session will be presented by Ashley Calo, whose family undertakers have been working with MJC for many years; and Andie Lucas, a mainstay and organizer of NW London’s progressive Chevrah Kadisha.
