At Mosaic Jewish Community, as one of our social action initiatives, we have agreed to focus on collecting essential toiletries for Goods for Good.
Our suggested list includes: toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, razors (male and female), shaving gel/cream, soap, shampoo and hand sanitiser.
Please place your donations in the wicker basket next to the cloakroom. (Next to the Harrow food bank collection point).
‘Goods For Good mobilises UK businesses and communities to donate unsold goods such as clothing, footwear, bedding, toiletries, and hygiene goods so that they can improve the lives of vulnerable individuals in desperate need. The goods sourced are needs-led and are distributed via charity and frontline organisations who support vulnerable people and communities including; older people, evacuees, refugees and asylum seekers, people who have been affected by modern slavery and human trafficking, people who are homeless or insecurely housed, those in assisted housing, affected by dementia or mental health issues, and families on low incomes or struggling financially.’ (From the Website, ‘About Us’).
