Harrow Foodbank is part of the nationwide network of foodbanks supported by the Trussell Trust, working to combat hunger and poverty. Mosaic contributed to the Harrow Foodbank from the old building in Bessborough Road. Now we are in our new building we can re-start this important interfaith social action project.
Please help us re-establish this social action project. It is easy to do so:
When you are next doing your shopping, please purchase some items from the Harrow Foodbank shopping list for someone who is in need. There is a list (updated monthly) which can be found on the Harrow Foodbank website https://harrow.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/. Items can then be deposited in the container which will shortly be placed in the cloakroom area at. MJC in Stanmore Hill. If anyone would like to help with moving the items from MJC to the Harrow Food bank warehouse, which is opposite Harrow Tesco, please contact: admin@choosemasaic.org
Please note the following items that are currently not needed: BAKED BEANS, TINNED SOUP, CEREAL, OATS/PORRIDGE, TINNED TUNA. BAGS FOR LIFE ARE URGENTLY NEEDED.
