At 7.00 pm on Sunday March 24th Leket is hosting a panel discussion at JW3 discussing food waste – the damage caused to the world by food waste and what we as individuals can do to stop it. Registration is free but pre-registration is essential.
During Pesach Chol Hamoed, Leket is opening the fields in central and northern Israel, to volunteers so that they can help pick fruits and vegetables for distribution to the needy. This is a great opportunity for anyone spending Pesach in Israel to make a physical contribution to the work of redistributing food resources to those in need.
