Mosaic Jewish Community – nominations please!

We’d like to remind you that the MJC AGM is being held on Tuesday 13 December in our new building. We’re glad to report we have nominations for some of the vacant board positions up for election at the meeting, but sadly we don’t have any nominations for the following:

Board position  Responsibilities
Governance and Compliance Officer  Manage our compliance with company law, charity law and other relevant legislation and regulation, including Data Protection
Safeguarding Officer  Manage our responsibilities for the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children, including acting as our Designated Safeguarding Lead
Adult Education Officer  Deliver adult education activities in collaboration with rabbis and other providers
Community Activities Officer  Coordinate community social and fund-raising activities, including liaison with MJC office staff on Event Management Plans
Social Action Officer  Design and deliver the community’s Social Action program
Marketing Officer  Manage the Mosaic brand in marketing and similar materials, both physical and digital
Communications Officer  Coordinate the community’s public relations, press and social media activities
Ritual Events Co-ordinator  Coordinate ritual events in order to maximise the opportunities to celebrate together, while respecting our different traditions
Membership Officer  Coordinate the membership process, from initial enquiry through welcoming new members and integration into the community
Listening Project Manager  Represent the Project at Board level and coordinate the support required to deliver the Project objectives

Do please take a moment to think whether you could step forward to take up one of these positions and support your community. We’re about to enter the next phase of our development, so we can guarantee it will be an exciting experience!

Please email chair@choosemosaic.org if you want to volunteer, or even if you just want to find out more.
