The Disproportionate Impact of Covid-19 on BAME Communities

Thursday, August 6

On Thursday evening (6th August) Dr Edie Friedman, founder and Executive Director of the Jewish Council for Racial Equality (JCORE) gave a presentation on the Disproportionate Impact of Covid-19 on BAME Communities.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected us all but it has impacted some communities more than others.  Amongst the worst affected have been Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities with BAME people up to four times more likely to die from the virus than their white counterparts.
