Can you help?

The sound system in the Synagogue is nearly 10 years old and we experience intermittent issues with interference, and it can be difficult to hear a softly spoken reader.

Following research and consulting a professional sound engineer we have concluded that the microphone used for services (and other events) should ideally be replaced with a professional “shotgun” lectern microphone and a professional digital transmitter / receiver.

This equipment would normally cost around £1,000 but we have managed to source them for £500 on sale or return.  The equipment was successfully used last Shabbat – the feedback we have received is that the sound quality (both in the Synagogue, via the hearing loop and over the Internet) is much better.
