Mosaic Jewish Community and its three constituent synagogues (Mosaic Liberal, Mosaic Masorti , Mosaic Reform Synagogue) of 1a Halsbury Close, Stanmore Hill, HA7 3DY serve north-west London and the Home Counties with a wide range of religious, educational and communal facilities. Mosaic and its constituent synagogues are not-for-profit registered charities, and rely on communication between our officers, members and third parties to realise those objectives.
Mosaic and its constituent synagogues will hold and use personal data, together with other information, about members including past members and applicants. Personal data will include contact details, financial details and details of family, lifestyle and social circumstances. Personal data may be received from members themselves, or from relatives or guardians of younger members, and may include certain sensitive data.
Mosaic and its constituent synagogues will hold and use personal data for the purpose of realising the administrative, religious, educational and communal objectives of the community. We may disclose such data to other members of the Synagogue, and selected third parties, for this purpose.
Personal data, together with certain sensitive data, may also be held and used by the Rabbis for pastoral care. They may disclose such information, which will be held separate to the membership database, to community care workers, other organisations and welfare agencies for this purpose.
Mosaic and its constituent synagogues will hold and use personal, education and academic details of younger members attending religion school, and may disclose personal data to relatives, guardians and teachers.
Mosaic and its constituent synagogues will hold and use personal data for marketing, public relations and fundraising, and data may be passed to carefully selected third parties for this purpose. As constituent members of our parent synagogue bodies we will make available personal information to the Movements for the purpose of supporting the Movements through demographic information for future planning, fundraising and statistical analysis. As a member of burial schemes, we will make available personal information where appropriate to the burial schemes for the purpose of managing burial services.
Mosaic and its constituent synagogues will hold and use information about members eligible for security duty, including availability, attendance and infirmity, in order to make the allocation of security duties more efficient. Contact details of members will be disclosed to other members, the Community Security Trust, and other third parties for the purpose of providing security cover. Mosaic and its constituent synagogues will record and use CCTV images of people entering the Synagogue premises for crime prevention and the prosecution of offenders.
