Art Exhibition in aid of British Friends of Israel War Disabled – Week 4

This exhibition during December will be showing works of art by various painters who are happy to support the work of the Edgware and Stanmore BFIWD Committee.

Every year, for more than 30 years, apart from the Covid period, a dedicated group of local English Jewish families have hosted Israeli Disabled veteran soldiers accompanied by their spouse and a doctor and psychiatrist.

They suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of their various experiences defending Israel. This we sadly anticipate will only increase the casualties by the latest situation that is unfolding in Israel.  We feel obliged to increase support for Bet Halochem Centres which work to rehabilitate IDF soldiers and their families.
