Helen Mirren IS Golda Meir in this totally absorbing theatrically released 2023 movie. The entire film deals the immediate lead up to the Yom Kippur War, and the war itself, the decisions and the fear of total destruction of the Jewish State. Liev Schreiber plays Henry Kissinger and is supported by an ensemble cast of outstanding British actors. By the end of the movie it is hard to believe that you have not been watching the real Golda. Mirren is simply superb.
