“Meet the Author” – Alex Gerlis

Join the Mosaic Culture Hub for a light lunch before Steve Levinson interviews Alex Gerlis about his latest book – Agent in the Shadows.    This was published in February and is the third in his ‘Wolf Pack Spies’ trilogy featuring two British agents: Sophia, the wife of an SS officer and Jack, an American journalist. This book is set in and around Lyons in occupied France and has the French resistance, collaboration and betrayal at the core of its plot. It is factually based, so features the notorious Gestapo chief Klaus Barbie and also the notorious raid on the Jewish orphanage at Izieu, which led to the murder of 50+ children.
