Shabbat Bereshit.  New Moon Blessing.  Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan is Wednesday/Thursday.

Torah Reading: Genesis 3:1-24 on page 17  in the Etz Chaim Chumash and page 10 in the Hertz Chumash.

Maftir: Genesis 6:5-8 on page 34 in the Etz Chaim Chumash and page 19 in the Hertz Chumash.

The Haftarah is Isaiah 42:5-21 on page 36 n the Etz Chaim Chumash and page 21 in the Hertz Chumash.  It will be read by Eden Shackell.

Mazal tov to Eden Shackell on her bat mitzvah and to proud parents Sharron and Lee.
