Most of the world’s most popular sports were born or have direct links to a small area of London, where Victorian gents met and set down the rules. This walk explains just how and where this happened. So whether your favourite is tennis, soccer, boxing, rowing or rugby, you will learn about them and many others on this fascinating walk.
Price £10 per head.
Each walk will take in a specific part of central London and will provide details of the area’s main points of interest taking in history, architecture, characters and events which give that area its own unique characteristics.
For safety reasons each walk will have limited numbers and will need to be pre-booked and paid for.
The walks will usually start at 10.30am and take between 1 and a half and 2 hours but the distances to be covered are not great and the routes will start and finish at a tube station.
