Boys Town Jerusalem – Education | Caring | Innovating
There is no other school in Jerusalem like Boys Town. Since 1948, and with the help of our supporters around the world, Boys Town Jerusalem has transformed the lives of more than 7,000 deprived, disadvantaged and orphaned young Israelis. Boys Town has given them a home, an education, practical and emotional support, and most importantly a future. No other school provides three hot meals a day, has full-time counsellors and social workers and offers such and extensive range of extra-curricular activities and volunteering opportunities. This goes hand-in-hand with a really outstanding education focussed on technology and innovation. Today, 963 boys attend the school in Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem. All of them receive some level of financial support and all need the special attention that only Boys Town can give them. Most importantly, all of them thrive thanks to the unique education and support that Boys Town Jerusalem provides. Boys Town graduates have accomplished so much over the years and contributed in so many ways to Israeli society. They have become doctors, engineers, captains of industry, air force pilots, Supreme Court judges, lawyers, teachers and educators. They have achieved things that would have appeared impossible even in their wildest dreams, and that is down to the dedication of all of the staff and our supporters.
