Adele is a retired Chartered Librarian and has spent her professional life working with young people, trying to foster in them a love of literature and provide for them a safe space in which they could flourish and grow. Reading and writing have always been a huge part of her life and, having given up work, she now runs Hillingdon U3A and their Creative Writing Group.
Her first book, ‘Silver Whimsy’ is a collection of short stories and Adele says she will be ready for her second book in a few months.
She describes her style as quirky and runs the gamut from autobiographical pieces, to science fiction, humour to plays and murderous tales!
