Selichot with Mosaic Liberal

Saturday, September 12

In Ashkenazi tradition, a special service called S’lichot is held on the Saturday night before Rosh Ha-Shanah.  During the service, we rehearse the themes and music of the High Holy Days.  S’lichot are prayers for pardon or forgiveness.  S’lichah, in modern Hebrew, means ‘excuse me’, ‘sorry’.

The purpose of S’lichot is to prepare our hearts and minds for the coming High Holy Days.  Please join us via Zoom on Saturday evening at 8:00 pm.
