We are delighted to offer this opportunity to visit the Poppy Factory on the morning of Tuesday 19th July.
The Poppy Factory is famous for making poppies for the Royal British Legion but it is in fact an independent charity successfully helping disabled ex-servicemen and women into secure long-term work.
The Rendezvous will be 10.00 am in the ticket hall at Richmond Station.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. As at 16th June, only 13 places remain so don’t delay!
If you would like to come, please contact the Mosaic Office at the latest by Tuesday 5th July.
There is no formal charge to participate but there is a suggested voluntary donation of £10 per head (which will be collected on the day) to which gift aid will be added and the proceeds presented to the Poppy Factory staff on the day.
Our visit will start with admission at 10.15 am and the tour then takes about 2 hours including tea and biscuits on arrival.
At the end of our visit those who wish will go to a local eatery ‘P I T C H E R & P I A N O,’ (which serves vegetarian options) on an each-pays-their-own basis.
Suggested public transport and restaurant details will be circulated nearer the time to those who have booked.
