Ian Austin, MP, at Mosaic in conversation with Steve Levinson

Come along to Bessborough Road at 8.00 pm to hear Ian Austin MP, in conversation with Mosaic’s Steve Levinson.

In 1939 Ian’s father Fred arrived in the UK as a ten-year-old Jewish refugee from what was then Czechoslovakia. He was the only member of his family to survive and his mum and sisters were murdered in Treblinka.  Ian is a supporter of Labour Friends of Israel, a member of the Jewish Labour Movement and has worked closely with the Holocaust Educational Trust, helping secure government funding for their ‘Lessons From Auschwitz’ project in 2006.  Ian has been the MP for Dudley North since 2005.
