This weekend we are organising activities for refugees both in London and overseas. We will be making a clothing collection for refugees, as well as making up parcels of art and crafts for children. Please turn out your cupboards and bring along lots of clothing and shoes (in perfect condition) for our collection for refugees. Also toiletries, sleeping bags, cash donations. Karen & Mia Pollak, who have been volunteering at The Jungle, will also give a talk at 11.00 am about their volunteering there.
We will also act as a centre for “Delete,” which collects saliva, to be put on the Bone Marrow Register. This is particularly urgent as part of the Spit4Mum campaign set up by Jonny Berger for his Mum. Anyone up to the age of 55 can be put on the register.
As in past years we will also help out on Stanmore Common with the help of the Harrow Conservation Group.
