This week, in response to the Pittsburgh shooting, we encourage all members to take part in the #ShowUpForShabbat initiative; to attend the Shabbat service as an act of solidarity with the victims of the shooting and of defiance in the face of hate.
We would also like to encourage members to raise money for World Jewish Relief, or any other charity that supports refugees, a cause that is particularly close to the heart of the Tree of Life Community in Pittsburgh.
