Berakah Walk – Finding Happiness in Stillness

Sunday, May 14

JOIN US FOR A BEAUTIFUL SPRING WALK – Co-Led by Rabbi Frank.  A Beautiful Spring Walk from Hammersmith Bridge to Battersea Park Peace Pagoda

The theme of the day is “Finding Happiness In Stillness”.  What do we do to still our minds on a day-to-day basis and how important is it to take time out from social media and daily hassles and bustles of life? We can share our experiences and ideas on what we personally do to help ourselves and how that stillness can affect others we engage with.  The walk will be along the path of the Thames, taking in beautiful sights and ending in the wonderful Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park.

Meet at 11am outside Hammersmith station (Hammersmith and City line exit)
Approx. 5 mile walk at a leisurely pace Walk is a level 1. Very easy.
The nearest underground station to Hammersmith which is on the District Line or Hammersmith and City – from the station the Thames Path is around a 10 minute walk away.

Please bring food to share for a picnic within the beautiful surroundings of Battersea Park at the end of our walk. Where there will be an opportunity to reflect and share our thoughts before sharing food.

The walk is being led by experienced walker and friend of Berakah Arts Anita Kelsey. Thoughtful input and prompts will be provided by Rabbi Frank Dabba Smith, a long standing Trustee of Berakah Arts.
