Join us at 8.00 pm. It’s summer 1942 and Arty and Yakob Kurnitz are sent to stay with their stern Grandmother and Aunt Bella (Mercedes Ruehl) in Yonkers, where they meet a host of colourful characters. As the summer progresses they are exposed to all aspects of human nature, and find themselves growing up.
This is Neil Simon at his most bitter sweet. Lost in Yonkers is a very different and truly lovely film.
Film Mosaic is open to anyone. Why not bring a friend?
As usual there will be time for an informal discussion or a chat with friends, with tea, coffee and biscuits after the screening.
Donations for our chosen charity would be appreciated if you care to give.
