Please join us at 10.00 am, for a walk into the lovely Whippendell Woods. Meet at the car park in Cassiobury Park, which is at the top of Gade Avenue, off Rickmansworth Road A412. You can either drive there, nearest postcode WD18 7LG, or walk from Watford Met Line Station. Turn left out of the station, and then turn right into Gade Avenue, and Cassiobury Park is ahead of you. (10 minute walk). This walk is a little longer than usual at about 4 miles, and is also hilly in parts, but well worth the effort. The path can be muddy, so do wear appropriate footwear. There is a café/toilets at the end of the walk. Good aerobic exercise and a great way to start the year, so come and join us and blow those cobwebs away.
