We all need a little help from time to time. Our dedicated Care Team is there to call on when you need that extra bit of support.
We are here for you, whether you are experiencing illness, loss, loneliness, disability or are caring for someone who is, so do get in touch.
Visiting the sick and homebound
If you or someone you know is ill, in pain, recovering from surgery or homebound and would welcome a visit, please let us know so we can help. Contact Care Coordinator, Esther Aronsfeld at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For anyone affected by cancer we have a list of resources to support you and your loved one. For details contact email@example.com. For individuals and families Chai Cancer Care in Hendon is a Jewish charity offering free counselling, complementary therapies, palliative care service, group activities, home support and advocacy and advice.
Prayer for healing
If a family member, friend or loved one is facing any kind of health challenge we invite you to pass on their name so we can include them when we recite our communal prayer for healing during our weekly Shabbat services. Please contact the synagogue office 020 8864 5323 with the name and relevant information, including contact details. To respect people’s privacy we will need their permission to recite their name.
Pastoral and spiritual counselling
If you are in need of personal support or spiritual guidance and would like to talk things over in confidence, our rabbi and care coordinator are available for you. To book an appointment contact Esther through firstname.lastname@example.org
We offer a ‘care surgery’ to coincide with the monthly Luncheon Club run by Mosaic Liberal Synagogue.
