Rabbi Daisy Bogod

Rabbi Daisy Bogod grew up in West London, spending much of her childhood sleeping on synagogue floors as part of LJY-Netzer (Liberal Judaism’s youth movement). She studied English Literature at the University of Leeds and Birkbeck College, and worked as an educator and teacher in several Progressive communities before starting rabbinic training at Leo Baeck College. She was ordained in July 2024, and joined Mosaic as the Liberal rabbi in November 2024.

For her rabbinic dissertation, she wrote about rabbinic work through the lens of feminist disability theory and her experiences as an ambulant wheelchair user. Daisy is committed to building communities with social justice and liberation at their hearts.

Outside of work, she likes reading, swimming outdoors, and cooking – and most importantly, spending time with her husband Josh and toddler Theo.
