Stanmore Hill

This is an exciting time for all in the Mosaic Jewish Community. 65 Stanmore Hill will be our new home in the near future. Construction started in early-2021 and we will be moving in during the first half of 2022. On this page you can see images of the progress so far and of the way the building will look when it is completed. We will be posting further progress reports and images as the project moves towards completion.

The ground floor of the building will be the home of Mosaic Jewish Community, where all three synagogues will be holding their services, and where a wide range of social, educational and cultural events will also take place. The aim is to provide not just a Jewish centre but one which enhances the area for residents and fosters inter-denominational co-operation.

Our new building is a state-of-the-art, multi-functional, flexible and sustainable development designed to showcase enhanced economic. environmental and social functionality.

A significant benefit of the new development is that we have installed a high-performance, full height, soundproof and movable wall partitioning system which can create up to 24 different space layouts. With this highly-flexible system in place, we will be able to host – and offer to the local community – a wide range of regular or one-off functions and events. We can provide tables and seating to suit all requirements and a range of catering options.

To support the events and functions opportunities, we are also installing a high-specification technology infrastructure including sound systems, digital projectors and enhanced Wi-Fi.  Click here to read more about the sophisticated new facilities and technology we are installing.

The three-storey building also includes several apartments. The Hertfordshire-based company, Griggs, is the developer.
