AJEX Ceremony & Parade

ajexThe  AJEX Annual Remembrance parade will be on Sunday 21st November at the cenotaph in Whitehall starting at 2pm.

This year it will be a ticketed event.

Anyone who would like to march at the cenotaph in Whitehall on Sunday 21st November as part of the Jewish delegation, which includes marching past the cenotaph, can join the rest of Mosaic membership, who do not have an allegiance with other communities or organisations. We will be marching under the Stoke on Trent banner.  The team will join up in Horse Guards parade around 13.15. We need to book all interested parties who wish to take part in the march  in by tomorrow, Friday 5th November, so we can submit a list of names, phone numbers and email addresses to AJEX. Please advise edwin@mosaicmasorti.org.uk who will look after the administration.

If you just wish to support the event along the route, please come along on the afternoon.

AJEX Remembrance Ceremony & Parade – Sunday 17th November

Anybody thinking of going on the AJEX march has to have a personal non-transferable ticket in advance (via the AJEX website or by ‘phone), or they can get this on the day but will need two forms of identification, of which one has to be photographic. This is bound to take time. Whilst it says those marching need to assemble by 1:30, I think we will need to be there for 1 PM.  A group from Mosaic will be meeting at Pinner Station at 12.15.  I would like to know who is planning to come, as this is a real Mitzvah to the memory of our fallen relatives who fought in the world wars to make Britain a better place. Please contact Edwin  on edwin.lucas@ntlworld.com  EVERYONE IS WELCOME, BETWEEN THE AGES 0F 1 AND 101.  Marchers should assemble at 1:30 pm on Horse Guards Parade, with the Parade and Ceremony taking place at 2:30 pm at the Cenotaph, Whitehall.
