Travel information

Mosaic Reform Synagogue, Mosaic Liberal Synagogue and Mosaic Masorti Synagogue (formerly Hatch End Masorti Synagogue) all part of Mosaic Jewish Community, are located on Stanmore Hill, approximately 300 metres north of the Stanmore Broadway traffic lights.

 

 

Getting here by public transport

The 142 bus from, Stanmore, Edgware Station, Bushey or Watford stops outside the door – bus stop “Mosaic/The Woodlands” .

Bus H12 from Rayners Lane, Pinner and Hatch End, bus 340 from Harrow and bus 342 from Queensbury stop at bus stop F “Stanmore Hill”.   It is then a 5 minute walk up Stanmore Hill to Mosaic Jewish Community.  To avoid walking up Stanmore Hill, get off the bus at stop D “Stanmore Broadway”, cross over the road and get the 142 from stop E towards Watford to stop “The Woodlands” (renamed “Mosaic”).

By car – parking

There are 10 parking spaces on site available for those requiring special access on a first come first served basis ; they may be booked in advance by contacting the Community office on 020 8864 0133 (note the office is closed on Fridays) or emailing admin@choosemosaic.org. Blue badge holders are asked to park on Stanmore Hill where they can legally park for up to 3 hours on double yellow lines outside the Synagogue.  Please do not cause an obstruction or park near junctions.  Please share a car if you can.

The Stanmore parking zone operates between 3 and 4 pm Monday to Friday.  Outside this time you can park in in neighbouring streets such as Halsbury Close, Hill Close, Hewett Close, Stangate Gardens, Spring Lake, in residents’ bays or on a single yellow line, provided there is no sign showing another restriction.  Parking in Stanmore Hill is restricted Monday to Saturday 8 to 6.30.   Further up Stanmore Hill there are meters operating in the same times. There are some free spaces in Stanmore Hill beyond Green Lane.  Note parking in Green Lane north of Culverlands Close is not permitted Monday to Saturday 8 to 6.30 even though there are no yellow lines.  Lower down Green Lane parking is restricted till 10 am.

There is ample parking in Stanmore Broadway behind the shops, a 7-10 minute walk. Note Sainsbury’s car park is restricted to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Please park considerately for our neighbours and if you are leaving in the evening please keep the noise down.

On high Holy Days and for major functions, spaces is made available locally with a shuttle mini-bus service from a nearby car park to the Synagogue.
